This piece was created for Fronteer Gallery's winter lights exhibition, which explored the role of light in festivals and rituals. Using the technique scannography, I arranged an eco bag, a fern leaf and my glasses case on a scanner to create the image — no camera needed. The result captures the ethereal glow of the northern lights through everyday objects found close to home.
