About Me
I create photography that centres on creating meaningful, personal photography informed by lived experience. My practice focuses on accessibility, disability, and diversity, with a strong emphasis on making photography adaptive rather than purely visual. Sustainability plays an important role in my work. Sustainability guides my material choices and photographic processes.
My work explores; texture, contrast, in addition to tactility inviting audiences to engage through touch, sound, and physical presence. It came to my attention that photography can’t be experienced by everyone, why is this a thing ? Any ‘art’ should be adaptive to the audience, period. I find my way around the world with my hands and feet.
Artist Statement
I create photography centred on accessibility, disability, and diversity, with a strong emphasis on making photography adaptive rather than purely visual. My practice uses camera-less processes — scannography, photograms, cyanotypes, chemigrams, anthotypes, and chlorophyll printing — to create work that invites audiences to engage through touch, sound, and physical presence.
Sustainability guides every material choice. I source from scrap stores, charity shops, donations, and Vinted to keep my practice low-waste and resist unnecessary consumption within the creative industries.
I enjoy educating people on inclusivity. As someone with three disabilities, accessibility is not an afterthought in my work — it is the foundation. I use audio content, tangibility, repurposed materials, and multi-sensory layering to ensure no one is excluded. Why should individuals be singled out because photography is primarily visual?
